There is a vast list of attractions and things to do in the Vermilion region, let alone on Lake Vermilion! No matter what type of vacation you're looking for, you’ll experience an unforgettable family getaway, group gathering, or romantic weekend escape to the north woods.

Lake Vermilion offers:
40,000 acres of water, 365 islands, and 1200 miles of shoreline, it stretches 40 miles (fifth largest in Minnesota by surface area)

Nesting Bald Eagles and Osprey, moose, black bear, loon, and many other wildlife watching options with miles of great fishing and boating.

Recreation
Experience amazing outdoor adventures on the lake. Boating, kayaking, and wildlife watching are just a few of the activities you can enjoy all year long! Fish, golf, hike, and swim in the area or enjoy the amenities located right within the resort grounds, including bon fires, paddle boating, swimming and more.

Shopping
Cook and Tower offer all types of shopping from small boutiques to antique shops. Target, L&M, Menards, and Wal-Mart can all be found in Virginia, MN with a variety of grocery stores.
